The Power of Transformation vs Change
Jack Hawley quotes Nisargadatta to illustrate the meaning of transformation:
“There are no steps…..There is nothing gradual about it. It happens suddenly and is irreversible. You rotate into a new dimension”
Hawley describes that transformation is “ the daring idea that massive change can, and often does, happen in the blink of an eye.”
However, most of us are conditioned to believe that change takes time. …Hawley illustrates with several examples of companies that have managed to transform their corporate culture instantaneously when there was a deep paradigm shift that occurred and it was understood that “change takes a long time” is merely a belief….like all beliefs, this can be transformed….sometimes merely transforming a belief can create transformation.
“….change doesn’t have to take that long! Might it occur faster? Could it happen in an eye-blink? After all, doesn’t the notion of transformation have within it “flashes” of insight and “moments” of awakening? Isn’t sudden, intuitive knowing an integral part of it?…”
As YOU transform, your business or your work will transform around you….step outside of your business to look at it as an objective observer. It is a reflection of who you are….I hope it is a pretty sight! J If not, you know what to do to transform it!
